Last year 911 operartors handled a little over nineteen thousand calls. That is a pretty heavy case load, for a county of sixtynine thousand or so people. One of the first things the new sheriff should do is meet with them, and see what they need to assist them in their job and make it easier, faster, and better for everyone.

They are truely the first line of defense for you the citizens of Franklin county.
