There are forty four sworn deputies. They have to cover four hundred ninety two point two miles. Four hundred ninety five drivable miles they do this by their self this has to change. Not talking about hiring more deputies. See sheriff’s posse. You should intend to have enough sheriff posse that these deputies will have a sworn posse member with them especially at night. Body cameras should be mandatory. The sheriff should be listening to you not the bureaucrat’s. As far as sheriff’s deputies and posse members they should never disrespect the citizens of this county. They will do their job. Respectful at all times. But you make sure that you understand the sheriff should not tolerate citizens disrespecting the deputies. Every body should to be asked to be on their best behavior deputies and citizens. We will see how it goes.

I also believe that the deputies that work in Franklin county should be from Franklin county. They need to live here, to use a old phrase they need to have skin in the game.
