I have heard to many sheriffs say they will do what the constitution says. I have been to rally’s where people are worried about losing their guns. A few years back i heard Jerry Jones sheriff of this county at the time and Donny Harris sheriff of Wake county at the time when asked about this question tell a few hundred people they would back the constitution. I don’t believe that is the question they were being asked. What those people meant was if they admin the constitution so they can come for your guns are you with the government or you with us. Let me assure you at this point, your sheriff should not be taking any body’s guns. Your sheriff should stand with you. I am talking about upstanding citizens with the right to carry a gun now, not convicted felons. And yes i am well a where of what the sheriff’s oath is, and if need be the sheriff should deputize every upstanding citizen in this county.
